James Sadik
Vice President, Operations

James A. Sadik originally joined the Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse in 1989, and has had significant operational and managerial involvement in all aspects of voluntary securities reporting.  He has participated in thousands of projects relating to corporate stock transfer and corporate trust audits, including common stock reports, mutual fund and stock brokerage reports, all types of corporate reorganizations, and dividend reinvestment plans.  Jim’s daily input to ACS’ operations have included the in-depth review of source documentation provided by holders and their agents; the drafting of operational instructions and audit procedures designed to outline the steps necessary to perform audits; and, the detailed quality assurance review of audit reports to ensure compliance with internal standards and adherence to state laws and policies.  Jim also has significant field audit experience in a variety of industries, and is particularly familiar with the operational aspects of all sectors of the financial services industry.

Jim joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1999, becoming a Manager in the State Tax Consulting practice, specializing in promoting unclaimed property compliance.  Jim returned to ACS in 2001 as an Operations Vice President.

Prior to joining the UPCH in 1989, Jim gained practical experience working in mortgage lending, stock transfer, and in stock brokerage operations and trading.
